# How to use the Bryq Status dropdown | Bryq Help Center

## Best practices surrounding use of the Status dropdown menu within candidate results to track candidate funnel.

When looking at each candidate's specific report, Bryq users are able to organize each candidate by what step or "status" they are at in the hiring process.

To use the Status options, users just need to expand the drop-down menu next to the summary section of the candidate's report. Then, select which status fits that specific candidate.
